 View the upcoming tasting calendarAwakenings offers a variety of ways to enjoy wine. Awakenings has access to thousands of boutique wines that you will never see at conventional grocery stores. The shop currently offers a variety of over 500 wines from all over the world carefully selected by Cutting Edge Selections, our wine distributor, and ourselves. Wine by the glass: We normally offer fifteen different White/Rose/Red wines by the glass at very reasonable prices ($4 to $10 for a 5oz glass). Please look for the "wine by the glass" icon on the web page. Wine by the bottle: You can buy a bottle of wine at retail and share it right here with friends. This is a unique way to enjoy great value wines. We do not charge any corkage fee. Our retail prices are close to state minimum which is usually half of the price that you would be charged at a restaurant. Once again, great wines at very low prices. You may want to access our " wine list" icon which includes our top sixty wines with some descriptions. Wine tasting: Awakenings offers wine tasting events four times a week, Thursday to Sunday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Same wines are poured Thursday and Friday. We have a new selection for Saturday and Sunday. We try to select various themes (Region, Country or Varietals). For each wine tasting, we select four wines, usually one white or rose (to rinse your pallet) and three red. We pour 3oz per glass for each wine and provide cheese plates (we have access to three hundred types of cheese from all over the world) and tasting notes to help you identify the most subtle aromas.
